Who am I? It is a question a lot of us start to ask ourselves, at one point in time or many points in our lives.

I decided to start this blog to share information I have been compelled to share, since my journey of development started in about 2007.

So, who am I?

A brief history on me.

I was a young Mom, 15 to be exact, to an amazing daughter who is now 20. Struggling was definitely part of my everyday, but I never looked at it really as such. I just believed it to be life. I constantly hear praise when people find out how young I was and what I have accomplished, but I do not feel I need that or even deserve it, as I was just living my life and doing what I felt I needed to at the time. I completed High School the year I was meant to with help from my Mom and my daughters other Nana. I went on to College and studied Motor Vehicle Repair, as I enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together.

To add to my enjoyment, 7 years after the birth of my daughter I had a wonderful son, who is now 13.

Not long after the birth of my son I started my weight loss journey, as I was not healthy (Many health issues already at 23!). Through this journey, I started to discover some really mind boggling information about nutrition and the state of our food system.

A couple years later I was employed with the Federal Government and became an Industrial mechanic, I continued with this career for 8 years. The last couple years of this career, I had been learning more in depth information on our bodies, nutrition and over all health. I decided to enroll into a program to become a Registered Holistic Nutrition Consultant, it was through this course that I had a real wake up call. I decided that I would quit my career, open a Health Food Store and be an avenue to help educate others who may be interested in helping their bodies through proper nutrition. During this time I met so many amazing people and heard so many tremendous stories, some not so great (health wise) and some truly inspiring.

Not long into opening my health food store, I started to learn about essential oils and decided to start carrying them at my store. The information on their amazing abilities to heal our bodies, minds and souls became quickly fascinating, so I decided to do Aromatherapy training. Once I did this training it was mind opening as well, just how many natural things we could be using to help us rather than the medications we use that usually do more harm than good. The other thing I learned was that a lot of the oils on the market were not actually pure as the labels said they were. I knew all to well about this because supplements are the same and I did a lot of research to make sure I was carrying good products and not doing more harm to the people I was trying to help. I shockingly discovered the oils I was carrying were not as great as some others and wasn't overly pleased with how they obtained their oils so I decided to stop carrying them. I was on a hunt at this time for a company I could trust, and that is when I found doTERRA. I was thankful and proud to be carrying such an amazing product, just as my many others I already sold. I seen and heard so many stories from people using these products and sometimes I almost didn't believe it how well they worked for people.

A little time later I discovered I could make doTERRA actually a business but didn't need to have all the overhead my health food store had and I could travel around and teach people in their homes and coffee shops, etc. This changed my life substantially because I could still do what I loved and could pass along the information as I was before.

After 2 years, I followed my heart and decided to pursue other developments for my personal growth and journey. I closed my store and decided to do some training to be able to help others in other aspects of life. I became certified to apply a technique called Aromatouch, that is an application of essential oils to the energy meridians of the back and feet to help bring the body to homeostasis.

Not long after this training, I took a trip and did some training that changed my life completely! I traveled to Costa Rica and took a Yoga Teacher Training course to become certified to teach Yoga. This journey opened new parts of me and the people I met truly opened my heart.

In my Holistic Nutrition training, there were a lot of lessons on the mind and spirit and its connection to our health. It was a very intriguing part of the lessons, as not only did nutrition play a role ( which most people truly do not understand ) but having a healthy mind and spirit also play huge parts as well. When I experienced the training I did in Costa Rica, this really cracked open this part of the education as I could understand totally how this is a huge factor in our over all well being!

I came back from my training a little different, I struggled because...I wanted to let go and be a happier loving person but it seemed hard to do so.

Why?

Because, it is hard to have people who know you understand your change, so it is hard to let go of who you were. Not only that but society, society creates this image, an image of how we are suppose to be

( insert Lego Movie song here ). The media is created so we stay mostly in this negative pit, we believe that we are stuck in our everyday lives and we just work and die. So much information is hidden, we have to conform to a whole, which most of us don't even fit in, material items are what makes us important and being to loving, generous or happy makes us strange and there is a possibility that you would be considered to be put on drugs to tame your too much joy for life.

I really wasn't sure what I was doing and became a little lost, I ended up sharing an amazing space with a great friend, which we tried to establish as a Wellness Center, it definitely felt like it was meant to be, but I always felt something was missing. Not long into the opening of this space the Universe had confirmed that this wasn't meant to be and we closed the center.

Since then I have been finding myself more having my shares of total ups and total downs, but I feel it is time to really start sharing my years of discoveries and helping those I can. I feel this blog can help me reach love and light to more souls, I truly hope it can, and even if it just gives some hope or a lead of information to one person, I will be grateful!

Thank you for taking the time to read a small fraction of my journey and part of who I am as a human being. I hope this website will serve you well.
